Ask Claude how AI engines see your brand
AskAiRank checks every day how ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and other engines answer the questions your buyers ask, and whether they name you. Connect it to Claude and read those results in plain conversation instead of opening the dashboard.
Before you start
You need an AskAiRank account with at least one brand. Brand tracking works during the trial and on any paid plan. You can create the account during the connection itself; add your brand afterwards at app.askairank.com.
Connect in four steps
- In Claude (web or desktop), open Settings, then Connectors, and click Add custom connector. Name it AskAiRank and paste the server URL below. This works on every Claude plan, including Free.
- Click Connect. Claude opens an AskAiRank page where you sign in with your email and password or with Google. A new account starts on the three-day trial.
- Check what Claude will be able to do and click Allow.
- In a chat, turn AskAiRank on in the tools menu and ask, for example "Which competitors does ChatGPT recommend instead of us?"
Server URL:
https://mcp.askairank.com/mcpAuthentication is OAuth. You never paste a password or an API key into Claude.
In Claude Code you can add the same server from the terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http askairank https://mcp.askairank.com/mcp, then run /mcp and choose
Authenticate.
What you can ask
- "How visible is askairank.com in AI answers over the last 30 days?"
- "Which sources does Perplexity cite when it mentions us?"
- "Compare us with Profound engine by engine."
- "Add the prompt "best AI visibility tracker for startups" and run a check."
Tools
list_brands- Your tracked brands with their domains and the time of the last check.
get_visibility_summary- Visibility and mention rate per AI engine for 7, 14, 30 or 90 days, with a daily trend. In ChatGPT it shows as a card.
list_mentions- Recent answers that named your brand: the question, the engine, the position, a quote and the sources the engine cited.
list_competitors- Brands the engines name next to yours or instead of it, ranked by visibility.
compare_with_competitor- You against one competitor, overall and engine by engine.
list_prompts- The questions AskAiRank asks the engines for your brand.
add_prompt- Adds a question to a brand. It is checked in the next daily run.
run_visibility_check- Asks the engines one tracked question right now. Uses one of your plan's manual checks.
get_account- Your account email, plan and trial status.
Every tool except add_prompt and run_visibility_check only reads data.
Nothing can be deleted through the connection, and billing is never touched.
Privacy and disconnecting
Claude sees only the results you ask for. AskAiRank does not receive your conversation. To remove access, open Account, Connected apps at app.askairank.com and click Disconnect, or remove the app in Claude's settings. Details are in our privacy policy and terms.
